GALLERY THREE - CRETANS

Cavern Design Earthwork, Forestville, California USA

In the summer of 2002 I made another cavern earthwork in a weekend party at Irena Nickel's place near Forestville. I prefer the larger mounds in the 22 by 36 foot design. A problem with this design was drainage. The site was relatively level so we had to make a small trench along the side of the yard to move the water to the lowest part of the property. Irena is shown with one of her trademark snakes. She dances locally weekly, a belly dance using one and two snakes.
